We hear a lot about positive thinking! How it can effect your mood and your expectations. If we can only think and speak positive things about ourselves and our future. Then when we act upon our thinking – changes will occur for our benefit.
On the other hand we understand that the same is true when all you do is speak or think negative about ones life or position in life. Then you will no doubt be stuck in a place in life that is less desirable to be in.
But did you know a lot of this thinking in a positive manner came from the Word of God, The Bible?
Well, it’s true. But we must keep things in context. You see when God speaks – things happen, things change, and what was meant for harm can be changed around for someones good.
God is so confident in His Words. That He says they will always accomplish what He sent them out to do. Look with me at this verse of scripture.
Isaiah 55:10-11 ERV
“Rain and snow fall from the sky and don’t return until they have watered the ground. Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat. [11] In the same way, my words leave my mouth, and they don’t come back without results. My words make the things happen that I want to happen. They succeed in doing what I send them to do.
My friends, the Word of God produces! If you want things to change or happen differently for you. Then find scriptures in the Word of God, which pertain to your situation and begin to confess them over yourselves.
Now please know, it’s not Abracadabra and wallah it’s done. But it is genuine belief in the Word of God and that His Words produce life.
Here’s the good part! Even if you can’t believe (have faith yet) that His Word will work for you. Then, believe and know that God believes His Words are full of life and that He knows His Words produce. See Jesus confessing these scriptures with you and over you and begin to see His Word come to pass, in your life.
