Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. [8] And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.
God wants you (the giver) to be blessed beyond your wildest dreams. Look at just how much He wants to give back to you and the way He wants to do it.
Luke 6:38 (MKJV) Give, and it shall be given to you, (1) good measure (2) pressed down and (3) shaken together and (4) running over, they shall give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured to you again.
It is like He can hardly contain Himself! When He sees those in action who love to give, He is excited to bless them back. Can you see Him with His spiritual truckload of blessings (so to speak)?
When it is being loaded up to bless back to those who gave. He says, “Fill it up to the Good Measure point. That includes somebody, getting into the back of that truck and pressing it down until it can hold no more. Now shake it all around so there are no gaps in this blessing. Wait, one more thing! Now that you have done all of that. Just pour more on top until it is all running over!”
Oh hallelujah! My friends, the more we give to God and the more time we spend loving Him. The more He wants to give back to us.
When we act on His Word and the promises He made, nothing is impossible for us through Him.
