Goodness and Mercy Follow Me…

Psalm 23 is a very well known psalm. It shows so many comforting excepts of the Shepherd’s love for us.

He cares about our “Wants” and fulfills our “Needs”. Look at this psalm and meditate on each verse of promise. It will give you hope in your Shepherd.

Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (have lack).

He maketh me to lie down (comforted and stress-free) in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters (places of safety).

He restoreth my soul (heals my mind, will, and emotions): he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake (I can’t help, but to walk in His right-standing with the Father. It is so the Shepherd’s name can be praised).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (Notice; I am not running through the valley. I’m just walking.), I will fear no evil (fear does not control me): for thou art with me (He NEVER EVER leaves me); thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies (I am taken care of by the Shepherd! Even when those around me, would like to see my end): thou anoints my head with oil (I am filled with the precious Holy Spirit); my cup runneth over (I cannot contain my excitement).

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Goodness and Mercy FOLLOW me everywhere I go! Even when I don’t see them, they are there and for ALL of my life they are right here with me): and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

My friends, this is so exciting to see how much the Shepherd/Jesus Christ cares for us.

His mercy is everlasting! Oh praise the Lord!

Jesus gives and gives and gives!

My friends, have you ever heard the scripture which says, “the Lord gives and the Lord takes away, Blessed be the name of the Lord”?

This saying came from Job, a man who served God, before there was a Covenant with God.

His story doesn’t end with everything being gone or taken away. No my friends, his story ends with the blessings of God overtaking his life.

So can ours! 🙂

Watch the video message here.

Be blessed in everything you do! 🙂

Jesus Christ is…

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Well, think about it! Then pray tell…how can I add to that? 🙂

Thank You Jesus!

Gods Word Never Returns Void

Have you ever had someone tell you something that you knew, it would never happen?

More than likely you have.

But with God, this doesn’t happen at all. His Word always produces! His Word always accomplishes its task! If it has been sent on assignment, it will accomplish its goal.

Isa 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

A Message in a Bottle (so to speak)!

Have you ever found a message in a bottle?

Were you intrigued beyond belief, to see what it said?

Usually it says something like, “I love you!” “Tell my family I really miss and love them!” Or “If you find this message, please send someone to look for me! I am at…”

Otherwise, its message is somewhat poetic or romantic in nature. Or it has an “I was” or “I am” theme to it.

Well my friends, “This particular message in a bottle” (so to speak) introduces the author immediately from the beginning. Then it carries on His hearts cry of truth stating… “I was!” “I am!” And “I will always be!”

This love note will change a persons life and destiny forever! It is the Word of God a.k.a. The Bible!

From the very beginning “God” introduces Himself as the “Creator”, “The Author”, and “The Finisher of our faith!”

He is the One who can change your life around in an instant, for “Good”. His message of hope and love tells us how we can find Him.

It’s romantic view, shows us that He has been searching for us, ever since we took our first breath. It also lays out how much His search has cost.

Even though the very first sentence in this bottle, “The Bible” introduces us to “The Lover” our our heart. “In the beginning, “GOD” created…

Its not until you continue to read His message that you understand the depths in which He has went…to find you and I.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Joh 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Wow! What a life changing message handed down through the sands of time to reach us today!

My friends, His message is still changing lives today! If you have not called out to Him yet…trust me! He is still waiting on you to read, believe, and accept His message of love! Oh Praise the Living God Almighty! Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 🙂

Putting back the pieces

Only God can take the broken pieces in our lives and put them back together again.

Only He can help you to love, trust, care, see, hope, and dream again.

My friends, the good news is that God is NOT through with you, No! He’s just getting started!

Php 1:6 (ERV) I am sure that the good work God began in you will continue until he completes it on the day when Jesus Christ comes again.

Can’t buy His love!

God gives what cannot be bought!

His grace covers what should have been your undoing!

His favor surrounds us like a shield!

His stripes are for your healing!

His resurrection proved, He was the Son of God!

His accepted blood before the Father, was to wash away your sins and make you white as snow!

Look at how this verse sums it all up!

1 Timothy 3:14-16 The Message (MSG) 14-16 I hope to visit you soon, but just in case I’m delayed, I’m writing this letter so you’ll know how things ought to go in God’s household, this God-alive church, bastion of truth. This Christian life is a great mystery, far exceeding our understanding, but some things are clear enough:

He *(Jesus) appeared in a human body,
was proved right by the invisible Spirit *(Holy Spirit),
was seen by angels *(from His birth).
He was proclaimed among all kinds of peoples, *(Jews and Gentiles)
believed in all over the world,
*(Resurrected on the 3rd day) taken up into heavenly glory.

The (CJB) version states vs. 16 like this…

16 Great beyond all question is the formerly hidden truth underlying our faith:

He was manifested physically
    and proved righteous spiritually,
seen by angels
    and proclaimed among the nations,
trusted throughout the world
and raised up in glory to heaven.

Thank You Lord for Your love! 🙂

*(Above was inserted for clarity and it is backed up by the whole Bible).

Jesus Gives and Gives, but doesn’t take away! (Warning! This might change the way you view God.) But no worries! You will rejoice over it!

There are popular songs, lessons, poems, and sermons which talk about God giving and taking away. Now if you believe this way, it’s OK…at the moment. 🙂

But I challenge you to pray and keep an open mind while reading this short lesson. Ask God to lead you to the truth, even if it is different then what you have always believed. Now, I know that’s hard. But, continuing to believe this way will keep you from walking in faith, like God desires for you to walk in.

Why? Simply, if you don’t know if God wants to give you something good. Or if situations change for the worse, if it is Him who is now taking it away from you. Then it’s hard to pray…believing that you receive.

Job was even slightly confused when things started going really wrong in his life. But he didn’t blame God and this is what he did and said…Job 1:20-21 (GW)  Job stood up, tore his robe in grief, and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21  He said, “Naked I came from my mother, and naked I will return. The LORD has given, and the LORD has taken away! May the name of the LORD be praised.”

Oh wow! What dedication to the Lord that Job just showed here in this verse. But if he had only realized there was a devil, an adversary who wanted to destroy everything he held dear in his life. One who even told God, I can make him turn against You, if you just take Your hand of protection away from him.

Then he might have said, “Blessed be the name of The Lord who gives. I curse the thief who is stealing from me now.”

Ay any rate, Thank You Jesus for setting this straight in John’s gospel. In John 10:10 MKJV (with Jesus speaking) it says, The thief (the devil our adversary) does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

My friends, The Lord gives and gives and gives abundantly. He is not the one who takes from you, but He will always be there when things start to go wrong. So that you can reach out to Him and be safe.
