My friends, in times like these…like what is going on all around us. We need something secure to stand on. Finding a solid rock, one that is unmovable. Will help us to stand our ground and not get swept away into the darkness of despair, if it comes our way.
The Psalmist David needed something or Someone solid to stand on in his day and age, as well. As always, he turned to the Lord God Jehovah! This is what he said in this beautiful verse of scripture.
Psalm 18:2-3 (ISV)
Wow! When we get a revelation of the LORD like the psalmist David had. We will walk victorious even in the midst of the battle. For we know there is victory in the dawn of a new day!

My friends, please know this! When the thief comes and tries to steal your blessings, your happiness, and your joy. Jesus is right there ready to give us “Abundant life!”
10 The thief (the devil and those who follow him) comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus Christ) came that they (you and I) may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
Oh hallelujah! Jesus is not the one who takes from you! No! He gives and He gives abundantly!

My friends, God’s plan for you is to succeed in everything you do. He wants you to rest in Him, His promises, and His presence.
27 Consider the lilies and wildflowers, how they grow [in the open field]. They neither labor nor spin [wool to make clothing]; yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. 28 But if this is how God clothes the grass which is in the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You of little faith! 29 So as for you, do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink; nor have an anxious and unsettled mind. 30 For all the [pagan] nations of the world greedily seek these things; and your [heavenly] Father [already] knows that you need them. 31 But [strive for and actively] seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
Oh hallelujah! He says, when we look to Him as the one who cares for us and we trust and rest in His presence. When we give Him the preeminence in our life, then His love for us will be seen by all, as it spills over into every area of our life. From our food supply and our clothes, to the beauty He has waiting to shine through us.
If He can clothe the lilies of the field with such glory and splendor, then just think of how beautiful His desire for you is today and every day of your life.

This is a question that a lot of people have asked from time to time. It strikes right at our belief in God and His goodness towards us.
However, Jesus answered this question for all of us in this story with the leper.
Mat 8:2-3 (MKJV) 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if You will, You can make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, I will; be clean! And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
My friends, Jesus answer is still the same today. “I will!”
So when we are walking through the valley of life. When we are standing on the Word and waiting for the manifestation of our miracle, please always know this! It is God’s will to heal and it is God’s will to heal you!
Jesus even refers to healing as, “The children’s bread!” Oh hallelujah!
Jesus body was broken for us and our healing. He referred to His body as the bread at the communion of the Last Supper. My friends, when you take communion, remember His body was broken for us and our healing.

You don’t even know sometimes, how powerful the words coming out of your mouth are…until you see the results.
However, Jesus did know and look what His words did in this situation.
Mark 11:11-14 (MKJV) And Jesus entered into Jerusalem and into the temple. And when He had looked around on all things, the hour already being late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
Mar 11:12 And on the next day, they going out of Bethany, He was hungry.
Mar 11:13 And seeing a fig-tree with leaves afar off, He went to it, if perhaps He might find anything on it. And when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season of figs.
Mar 11:14 And Jesus answered and said to it, No one shall eat fruit of you forever. And His disciples heard.
What did the disciples hear?
They heard Jesus say this to the tree…”No one shall eat fruit of you forever.”
Seems like a simple enough statement, right?
It didn’t really have that much power behind it, now did it?
Well, let’s see!
Mark 11:19-24 (MKJV) And when evening came, He went out of the city.
Mar 11:20 And passing on early, they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots.
Mar 11:21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which You cursed has withered away. (Did Jesus say, “I curse you fig-tree? No! He simply spoke “Words” that brought about the new defined state of that tree’s very existence.)
Mar 11:22 And answering Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. (Or believe like God believes, without a doubt that it will happen!)
(Now look with me at how many times He mentions “Speaking, Saying, and Praying which is speaking to God…in the next couple of verses.)
Mar 11:23 For truly I say to you that whoever shall “say” to this mountain, Be moved and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he “said” shall occur, he shall have whatever he “said”.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, “praying”, believe that you shall receive them, and it will be to you.
“Believe” is mentioned 2 times in these last 2 verses.
But a form of “Speaking” is mentioned 4 times in the same verses.
So what does this tell us, my friends?
Speaking is twice as important, than what we say – we are actually believing for!
Because from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks!
So what we really believe, is manifested on our lips!
Therefore, change your heart! Change your Words! Then you will surely change the outcome of your future!
You can do it my friends, in Jesus name I pray, Amen!
In the late 1800’s there was a swami who was a devout atheist. He had a wooden sign in his office that read, “God is Nowhere!”
Then one day while quizzing his child (who was just learning to read). He noticed the child trying to read his sign. He encouraged the child to sound it out.
Since the word “nowhere” was a big word to read, the child broke it up into 2 different words, “Now” and “Here!” Then the little one read the sign. “God is Now Here!”
The swami couldn’t hardly believe the words “now” and “here” were in the word he had banked on to convey his atheism. But he began to think about, what the child had uncovered.
He began a search to see if there was indeed a God or not. Much to his surprise, he found the very One that he said, never existed. As God revealed Himself to the swami through everything around him including the child. The swami became a believer in God and later concluded this…
God is in the present! Man looks to the past and to the future, but rarely at the present moment. But that is precisely where God is! God is a God of the “Now”! He works and operates in the present tense.
So in the moments of ones life, God is present “Now” and He is always “Here” when you call on Him.
Jesus says this about the little children seeing and praising God in the Bible…
15-16 When the religious leaders saw the outrageous things he was doing, and heard all the children running and shouting through the Temple, “Hosanna to David’s Son!” they were up in arms and took him to task. “Do you hear what these children are saying?”
Jesus said, “Yes, I hear them. And haven’t you read in God’s Word, ‘From the mouths of children and babies I’ll furnish a place of praise’?”
My friends, if God can’t get the truth through our own hard-heads. Then He will try and show Himself to us through His creation, nature, other people and the little children. Oh! What a mighty, loving God we serve!
Our God is indeed in the “Now” and He is “Here” in the present with us! Bless His holy name!

To be unmovable and unshakeable in shakable times, is to be rooted and grounded in the Lord, His Word, and His love for you.
My friends, Psalm chapter 1 gives us clues to being unmovable in our beliefs, love, commitments, family, finances, and our relationships.
The 2nd verse says to mediate in the law of the Lord day and night.
If we look for and find verses in the Word of God that we can stand on, even in troublesome times. Then we can be unmovable in times of uncertainty.
Verse 3 says it like this…once we have meditated in the Word of God. Psa 1:3 (KJV) And he (or she) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his (or her) fruit in his (their) season; his (their) leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he (or she) doeth shall prosper.
Do you want to prosper in all your ways?
Then here is the secret! Remember, the Lord and His love for you! Read and meditate on His Word; allow His Word to strengthen you throughout the day; and you will become unmovable and unshakeable even in, difficult or troublesome times.
Oh thank You Lord Jesus for Your tender love, mercy, and grace towards us!

Psalm 23 is a very well known psalm. It shows so many comforting excepts of the Shepherd’s love for us.
He cares about our “Wants” and fulfills our “Needs”. Look at this psalm and meditate on each verse of promise. It will give you hope in your Shepherd.
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (have lack).
2 He maketh me to lie down (comforted and stress-free) in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters (places of safety).
3 He restoreth my soul (heals my mind, will, and emotions): he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake (I can’t help, but to walk in His right-standing with the Father. It is so the Shepherd’s name can be praised).
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (Notice; I am not running through the valley. I’m just walking.), I will fear no evil (fear does not control me): for thou art with me (He NEVER EVER leaves me); thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies (I am taken care of by the Shepherd! Even when those around me, would like to see my end): thou anoints my head with oil (I am filled with the precious Holy Spirit); my cup runneth over (I cannot contain my excitement).
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Goodness and Mercy FOLLOW me everywhere I go! Even when I don’t see them, they are there and for ALL of my life they are right here with me): and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
My friends, this is so exciting to see how much the Shepherd/Jesus Christ cares for us.
His mercy is everlasting! Oh praise the Lord!

My friends, have you ever heard the scripture which says, “the Lord gives and the Lord takes away, Blessed be the name of the Lord”?
This saying came from Job, a man who served God, before there was a Covenant with God.
His story doesn’t end with everything being gone or taken away. No my friends, his story ends with the blessings of God overtaking his life.
So can ours! 🙂

Be blessed in everything you do! 🙂
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Well, think about it! Then pray tell…how can I add to that? 🙂
Thank You Jesus!
