Have you ever wondered if there is truly life after death?
Is there really a God and does He care about you?
Is He really alive, like some say? Or is He dead?
Well, my friends, you have come to the right time in your life to find out. The fact of the matter is…God is drawing you to himself, by His Spirit.
You see the Bible is Gods written Word to mankind. It was written by over 30 authors, over a span of more than 3,000 years and it has “NO” contradictions in it. God allowed the author’s style and personality to shine through the pages in each book while overseeing every Word that was written. What a divine feat administered by the breath/inspiration of God! His precious Holy Spirit overshadowing each one of them, as they penned their part.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (AMP)
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
If you think you have found one, then you only need to pray and study a little further to find the truth hidden in the Word.
When I say hidden, I mean it is hidden on purpose by Almighty God. In this way, we come to Him by faith and believe that He is and that He rewards those who believe. Hebrews 11:6 (BBE)
6 And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary for anyone who comes to God to have the belief that God is, and that he is a rewarder of all those who make a serious search for him.
God is always searching for you to find Him. He is always tugging at your heart strings, even if you are “dead-set” against His existence. Therefore, if you never say “Yes” to Him in this life, it is on you. For when you face Him in eternity, (that is the moment you no longer exist in this realm of life) you will face Him there.
My friends, there will be no way to explain your way out of His Holy presence.
However, if you accept Him now as Lord and Saviour in this life. Then you will be with Him forever in eternity. For the Bible says this about Jesus and your believing that He is Lord of all.
Philippians 2:5-11 (HCSB)
5 Make your own attitude (or have this mind) that of Christ Jesus,
6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage.
7 Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of men. And when He had come as a man in His external form,
8 He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death— even to death on a cross.
9 For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name,
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow— of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
11 and every tongue should (will) confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
My friends, salvation by and in the name of Jesus Christ is not hard. Look at the simplicity of salvation in this scripture setting. Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
That’s it my friends! That’s it! Believe in your heart and confess His Lordship over your life with your mouth and you will be saved. You see, unlike all other religions in the world, when it comes to salvation in Jesus Christ, He did the hard part. Our part in order to attain salvation is easy. We simply MUST believe and confess He is Lord of all, then we will be saved.
Now look at this same section of scripture, as it is covered in the whole section from the Amplified Bible.
Romans 10:9-13 (AMP)
9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.
12 [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith].
13 For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord (in this manner) [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.
