The Word is Alive!

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

My friends, the Word of God is alive (Quick)! It brings life those who study it with the help of the Holy Spirit.

It is powerful! It will change your eternal destination from”Hell” to “Heaven”! If you believe the words written on its pages and follow the simple confession of faith, concerning the Lordship of our blessed savior, Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 

It is sharper than any other edged weapon in the world, (Two-edged sword, in this case. It was no doubt the sharpest of its kind during this time period). In the spiritual realm…it divides to the separation of the 2 eternal parts of a human being, the spirit and soul. In the physical realm, it divides the joints from the marrow inside the bones. Then back to the soulish/spiritual realm, it divides the thoughts in your soul from the intents in your heart/spirit.

My friends, nothing is sharper than that!

So no matter what you are facing today, the Word of God and the manifested Word (Jesus) has answers and direction for your life. John 1:1-4 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

My friends, Jesus is the “Word” who was in the beginning with the Father.

1. If it’s salvation you need (all of us do)…Jesus saves!

2. If it’s healing that you need in life-situations, in your body, or your mind…Jesus heals!

3. If it is a financial help or direction that you have need of…Jesus provides!

4. If it’s relationships or family situations that you need help with…Jesus is the love who restores!

5. If it is someone that you need to just unload your thoughts and heart on…Jesus listens!

So no matter what type of situation you are faced with today. Jesus and His Word has answers to your situation. Plus His Word is POWERFUL and it is full of life!

Larry Atkerson Ministries

Larry Atkerson Sr. was born-again at a young age. He grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma, then in high school, his family moved to Tulsa, Ok. During this time he met the young lady who would become his wife, Lisa. They got married when they were still in their teen years. Obviously, getting married at this age created some very interesting times as they both grew up and matured together. However, they have stayed true to their vows, to each other, and have basically grown up with their 3 wonderful children. Larry Atkerson Sr. and Lisa Atkerson both have received training in ministry at "Rhema Bible Training Center" and "School of the Local Church"/"Grace School of Ministry" in Broken Arrow, and Tulsa, Ok. respectively. While attending "School of the Local Church", he received his first taste of the original languages of the Bible, in a course called "Beginning Biblical Greek". Since that time he has also received training in "Biblical Hebrew", with a university based in Israel. "eTeacher". Larry Atkerson Sr. has worked/volunteered in just about every position a church or ministry can have. In doing so, he has filled many different roles ranging from door-greeter to Sunday-School teacher, and children’s church worker to counselor. He has also served in the pastoral positions of children’s, youth, and adult ministries. He has worked and been involved in hospital/visitation ministries where he has seen the power of God change people’s lives. He delights in going on short-term mission trips! All the while, seeing the love of God with applied wisdom - transform people and their lives forever. Larry Atkerson Sr. teaches a weekly bible study class starting just after spring break each year and continuing until right before Thanksgiving. In the class, he delves into the wonderful-exciting-mysteries and simplicity of the Word of God.
