No Weapon formed (forged) against you will prosper!

Have you ever watched the popular show on the History channel that talks about “Forging with fire?”

It is one of my favorite shows. Men and women are given challanges to take a piece of metal and form or forge it into a working blade of some sort, i.e. knife, sword, axe, and etc. Then, they are put through rigorous test to see if they can hold up under pressure. Sometimes they work well, but other times they break into pieces and fail under the pressure applied.

The Bible tells us likewise, in the pits of the devils kingdom. He and his demonic forces are busy at work trying to find some weapon, some device or use some person or thing to try and destroy you and your walk with the Lord.

I am so grateful that none of this catches God by surprise and He has already done something about it. He says this in His Word…

Isa 54:17 (KJV)  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

My friends, this is good news! No weapon, seen or unseen, that the devil tries to form or forge against you shall prosper.

Even people and situations that try to falsely bring you down, will fail. God says, this promise is part of our inheritance with Him.

Oh my goodness! This is such great news! Then, just when you thought this promise couldn’t get any better, look at the end of the verse. He says that even our righteousness, our right-standing before the Father is sure and eternal. Because all of it is wrapped up and provided by salvation through His Son, our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

My friends, when attacks come your way. Stand on the Word of God! Confess it over your situation and see the salvation of the Lord, begin to work in your behalf.

Thank You Lord that our hope, peace, and protection is wrapped up in you. We pray for the peace of #Israel, #America, and in all #nations around the globe, in Jesus name, amen and amen! 🙂

Larry Atkerson Ministries

Larry Atkerson Sr. was born-again at a young age. He grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma, then in high school, his family moved to Tulsa, Ok. During this time he met the young lady who would become his wife, Lisa. They got married when they were still in their teen years. Obviously, getting married at this age created some very interesting times as they both grew up and matured together. However, they have stayed true to their vows, to each other, and have basically grown up with their 3 wonderful children. Larry Atkerson Sr. and Lisa Atkerson both have received training in ministry at "Rhema Bible Training Center" and "School of the Local Church"/"Grace School of Ministry" in Broken Arrow, and Tulsa, Ok. respectively. While attending "School of the Local Church", he received his first taste of the original languages of the Bible, in a course called "Beginning Biblical Greek". Since that time he has also received training in "Biblical Hebrew", with a university based in Israel. "eTeacher". Larry Atkerson Sr. has worked/volunteered in just about every position a church or ministry can have. In doing so, he has filled many different roles ranging from door-greeter to Sunday-School teacher, and children’s church worker to counselor. He has also served in the pastoral positions of children’s, youth, and adult ministries. He has worked and been involved in hospital/visitation ministries where he has seen the power of God change people’s lives. He delights in going on short-term mission trips! All the while, seeing the love of God with applied wisdom - transform people and their lives forever. Larry Atkerson Sr. teaches a weekly bible study class starting just after spring break each year and continuing until right before Thanksgiving. In the class, he delves into the wonderful-exciting-mysteries and simplicity of the Word of God.
