Length of Days and Long Life

Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart

Pro 3:110 (KJV)  My son (or daughter), forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Pro 3:2  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Pro 3:3  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Pro 3:4  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Pro 3:7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear (reverence) the LORD, and depart from evil (turn your head away from doing evil or bad).

Pro 3:8  It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Pro 3:9  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

Pro 3:10  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

In the New Testament, we see how to fulfill the law properly in the dispensation that we are currently living in, “The Dispensation of Grace” or “The Church Age”. In Gal 5:14 (KJV) it says… For all the law is fulfilled in one word (one thought or phrase), even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

When it comes to the commandments, Jesus answered one of the scribes this way.

Mark 12:29-31 (MKJV)  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord;

Mar 12:30  and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” This is the first commandment.

Mar 12:31  And the second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

My friends, when we fall in love with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we want to please Him. Then all of the commandments and the law is summed up in these 2 things found in Mark 12:29-31 (listed above).

Fall in love with the Lord today. If you haven’t asked Him to be your Savior yet. Then don’t hesitate or waste one more second of life without Him.

Say this prayer and believe what you are saying. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus to this earth. I believe He lived, died, and rose again from the dead on the 3rd day, just like Your Word says. Thank You Jesus for loving me. Thank You for coming into my life, my heart and changing me from the inside out. I accept You as my Lord and Savior, as my healer, and as my very best friend, in Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen!

My friends, if you prayed that prayer just now and you meant it, then you are born-again. All the old things that used to define you – no longer have the power to do so. Spiritually speaking, you are a brand new creation, in Christ Jesus.

Welcome to the family of God! 🙂 I pray that you will be in health, prosper, and that length of days is yours, until you are satisfied with your time on the earth (or until the rapture comes).

Larry Atkerson Ministries
Larry Atkerson Sr. was born-again at a young age. He grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma, then in high school, his family moved to Tulsa, Ok. During this time he met the young lady who would become his wife, Lisa. They got married when they were still in their teen years. Obviously, getting married at this age created some very interesting times as they both grew up and matured together. However, they have stayed true to their vows, to each other, and have basically grown up with their 3 wonderful children. Larry Atkerson Sr. and Lisa Atkerson both have received training in ministry at "Rhema Bible Training Center" and "School of the Local Church"/"Grace School of Ministry" in Broken Arrow, and Tulsa, Ok. respectively. While attending "School of the Local Church", he received his first taste of the original languages of the Bible, in a course called "Beginning Biblical Greek". Since that time he has also received training in "Biblical Hebrew", with a university based in Israel. "eTeacher". Larry Atkerson Sr. has worked/volunteered in just about every position a church or ministry can have. In doing so, he has filled many different roles ranging from door-greeter to Sunday-School teacher, and children’s church worker to counselor. He has also served in the pastoral positions of children’s, youth, and adult ministries. He has worked and been involved in hospital/visitation ministries where he has seen the power of God change people’s lives. He delights in going on short-term mission trips! All the while, seeing the love of God with applied wisdom - transform people and their lives forever. Larry Atkerson Sr. teaches a weekly bible study class starting just after spring break each year and continuing until right before Thanksgiving. In the class, he delves into the wonderful-exciting-mysteries and simplicity of the Word of God.
