Rev 1:8 (KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
My friends, as far as God and gods go…Jesus says, He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, The One who “is,” the One who “was,” and the One who “shall come again!” He is the Almighty!
When Jesus says, He is the “Almighty, it is the Greek word…παντοκράτωρ! Transliterated into English as, pantokratōr and pronounced as – pan-tok-rat’-ore
It means; the all ruling “One,” that is, God (as absolute and universal sovereign): – Almighty, Omnipotent.
Wow! Jesus puts it straight out there! He leaves nothing to speculate about. He says, if you want to know who God is and the power He has, look no further than to Him. He is the All-sufficient, All-knowing, All-powerful God – The Almighty! Oh hallelujah!
But there is still one more hidden gem in this verse! It is the first 2 words…”I am!”
This is the same name or reference that Jesus told Moses to tell the children of Israel, when they asked, who sent you.
Exo 3:13-14 (KJV) And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
My friends, “I am” shows a present tense God! When Jesus was speaking about being the God who “is,” who “was,’ and who “is to come” did you notice He mentioned the present tense first?
He is the God of your “Now present situation!” Look to and believe Him and see your needs met!

Larry Atkerson Sr. was born-again at a young age. He grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma, then in high school, his family moved to Tulsa, Ok.
During this time he met the young lady who would become his wife, Lisa. They got married when they were still in their teen years. Obviously, getting married at this age created some very interesting times as they both grew up and matured together. However, they have stayed true to their vows, to each other, and have basically grown up with their 3 wonderful children.
Larry Atkerson Sr. and Lisa Atkerson both have received training in ministry at "Rhema Bible Training Center" and "School of the Local Church"/"Grace School of Ministry" in Broken Arrow, and Tulsa, Ok. respectively.
While attending "School of the Local Church", he received his first taste of the original languages of the Bible, in a course called "Beginning Biblical Greek". Since that time he has also received training in "Biblical Hebrew", with a university based in Israel. "eTeacher".
Larry Atkerson Sr. has worked/volunteered in just about every position a church or ministry can have. In doing so, he has filled many different roles ranging from door-greeter to Sunday-School teacher, and children’s church worker to counselor. He has also served in the pastoral positions of children’s, youth, and adult ministries. He has worked and been involved in hospital/visitation ministries where he has seen the power of God change people’s lives.
He delights in going on short-term mission trips! All the while, seeing the love of God with applied wisdom - transform people and their lives forever.
Larry Atkerson Sr. teaches a weekly bible study class starting just after spring break each year and continuing until right before Thanksgiving. In the class, he delves into the wonderful-exciting-mysteries and simplicity of the Word of God.
It’s an inspirational teaching, Truth in it very clear. We are evidently in exciting days with hope for victory dawning more faster than ever. I pray that countless Believers are drawn by the Holy Spirit to this site. May those who have ears hear and get it right. …Amen
