John 1:1-4 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
My friends, “The Word” was in the beginning with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Together, they created the heavens and the earth, as “The One True God!” This same “Word” breathe life into man and he became a living soul.
Very interesting when we come full-circle and see that the “Word” of God (the Bible) was also created by the breath of God. His Spirit, inspired the writers over a period of about 4,000 years, to write the things they wrote.
2 Timothy 3:16 (MKJV) All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
So now when we ask God (with an open heart), to show us the “truth” in His Word. It becomes ALIVE to us, as His breath breathes life into our situation. It is as true and as full of life today, as it was when the writers wrote it down.
My friends, what do you have need of?
Whatever it is when you pray, know His breath (in this case – His Word) still breathes Life today. As you trust Him and meditate on His “Life-filled Word” you will begin to see your needs fulfilled in Jesus name, Amen and amen!
