3Jn 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
This short letter was written to a fellow believer. In the first verse John addresses, Gaius. Then what he states in verse 2 allows the heart of God to shine through him, in his wish. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
The spoken phrase, “Even as” in the original language of the New Testament, “Koine Greek” or street Greek, spoken at the time. Is the word “καθώς” = kathōs. It means, – according to, or to the same extent or degree as.
Notice that God wants you to prosper in all things and in all areas of your life. That is, according to the same measure that you see His ability to bless, prosper, protect, and provide health to you.
The more we trust in, (have faith in) learn and study about our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The more He will illuminate and bring to life, His Word in our lives. 1Peter 2:24 says this…Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

In the second part (last part) of the verse, He shows us Himself, as the Healer. by whose stripes ye were healed. We know He doesn’t change. What He did for people while on the earth, is the same things He is willing to do for people today.
I pray my friends, that you will prosper and be in health, to the same extent that you can see Jesus as your “Need meeter” (the one who can meet all of your needs.) If He healed while He was on the earth, then He still heals today.
#COVID-19 has no place in your body or in your home and we speak “Life” over you and your family today! No other sickness or disease has power over the stripes that were laid on Jesus’ back for your healing.
Also, if you have been laid off or presently have found yourself unemployed. Look to Jesus and His Word for guidance. Because, to the same extent…you see Him as your Provider, is the same extent He will be able to provide for you.
If He said He wants to prosper you, then even in the middle of your trial, He is there waiting! He can turn everything around for your good. Rom 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. So, even the bad things that wanted to destroy you. He will turn them around, as well, to work for your good. Oh, Praise the Lord, God Almighty!
