The God of the Impossible!

Most of us are familiar with this scripture, Luke 1:37 (MKJV) For with God nothing shall be impossible.

As well as, this one, Mark 10:27 (MKJV) And Jesus looking on them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.

Yet, many of us never ever see the impossible become possible, especially in our own lives. But has God changed? Has His ability to work in our own lives changed? Or, is He no longer doing these miraculous feats in the lives of human beings?

Nay, I say! He is STILL the God of the impossible! What He had done for anyone in times past, He is still willing and able to do today. Obviously, this is true, concerning the “Impossible”.

Faith building time!

  1. In the beginning, God spoke and it happened! I.e….”Let there be light and there was light”, Genesis 1:3 Today the universe is till expanding at the very speed of light. Why? [Simply because, God never said, “Light stop!”]
  2. When the earth became dark with wickedness and sin. God was going to destroy it all, Genesis 6:1-7. But “One” man, Noah found “Grace” is the eyes of the Lord Genesis 6:8. So, God flooded the whole earth. Yet, He preserved the one who had found “Grace” in His eyes. That is, him and his whole family, Genesis 6:18. Also, He preserved 2 of every animal on the earth, Genesis 6:19-20. With the exception of those who were considered clean animals that were used in sacrifice to the Lord, of those he saved 7 of each, Genesis 7:2-3. [All of humanity was destroyed, but God spared those who were pure.]
  3. When the Jewish people faced certain doom because of a wicked man named Haman. God provided a miraculous way out for them. It was through the very beautiful, young lady who was now queen. Her name was Queen Esther. Through the wisdom of her adopted dad, Mordecai Esther 2:7 and the “Grace” given to him and her. They were able to make their case before King Ahasuerus. So, the king protected the Jews and hanged Haman instead, Esther 7:9-10 on the very gallows that he, Haman had made to destroy Mordecai on, Esther 5:14. [God made a way when there seemed to be no-way.]
  4. When Jesus was ministering with His disciples, they passed by a man blind from birth, John 9:1. Jesus made clay from the ground and His spittle. He then anointed the mans eyes with it and told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam. He did as Jesus commanded and he received his sight. [Definite impossibility turned into a miraculous healing. The man who had NEVER seen anything FROM BIRTH, can now see!]
  5. Because of the “First Adam”, the one who sinned in the garden, Genesis 3:6-24. We are all born with the sin nature present in our bodies, Ephesians 2:1-10. But because of the “Last Adam”, Jesus Christ, 1 Corinthians 15:45. We can now accept Him as Lord and Savior and be passed from death unto life, John 5:24. [Miracle of righteousness being given to us by our confession and belief in Jesus as Lord and Him, being the Son of God. As a result our name is eternally written in the “Lamb’s Book of Life” in heaven. #ImpossibleBecomingPossibleThruHim ]

My friends, we could go on and on and on. But this is just a short list to show you that our God is still the God Who makes ALL things Possible, through Jesus Christ!

What impossibility are you facing today?

In the natural, it may seem impossible, but with God ALL things are possible. Just go to Him in prayer and thank Him for His abundant Grace which is available for your situation. Find a scripture that you can stand on in His Word. Then stand there rooted and grounded in His promises. See the Impossible situation be changed into the Possible, with Him.

Oh my goodness, let’s praise His Holy Name! Thank You Jesus for Your unmerited favor in our lives. Thank You for making us new in You, through the “New Birth” and that our names are written down in heaven.

**Disclaimer – Please don’t be dumb and do something stupid and then say, “I was believing for the impossible to become possible, so then I did it.” Really! The only thing you will see come to pass is possibly on the other side when you meet Jesus face to face and He asks you this question…”What were you thinking?”** šŸ˜®
