The blessings of God pursue me every day.
He is constantly showing me His divine pleasure.
When I wake in the morning to face a new day. It is with the realization that all night long, He has pursued me.
He has moved mountains to get to me, to bring me provisions and protect me.
How do I know, you may ask?
It is because I know and understand the pleasure of my Lord.
While I am sleeping, He is not!
He is busy moving heaven, hell, the earth, and if need be, the entire universe to meet my needs.
All just so He can bring His blessings across my path.
I am truly highly favored!
I am so deeply, deeply loved by my Lord.
He gave up everything for me. He holds back nothing.
Every day I am refreshed, I am renewed.
He sets my feet like Hind’s feet. I swiftly run to Him.
The thought of not spending time with my Lord is unfathomable.
I can hardly wait, to see the blessings He Has in store for me today.
He can hardly wait for me to wake up!
Just to show me what He has been up to since I laid down my head and slept.
You see the blessings of God pursue me.
The blessings of God pursue me every day.
Happy Easter morning everyone!
My friends, I just wanted to share this insightful word of encouragement with you today. Especially, since a lot of things have changed since I wrote it. Yet, one thing remains the same, He does!
Troubles come and go because there is an adversary who works against you. But Jesus said, “I have come to give you life and to give it to you more abundantly!” John 10:10b.
So, no matter what we are facing today. He is ready for it and as we rest in Him, we can be ready for it too!
My heart goes out to all who are facing difficult times and situations. But please remember this, Jesus said, “I will never, ever, ever leave you alone!” Oh, praise the Lord! 🙂

Larry Atkerson Sr. was born-again at a young age. He grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma, then in high school, his family moved to Tulsa, Ok.
During this time he met the young lady who would become his wife, Lisa. They got married when they were still in their teen years. Obviously, getting married at this age created some very interesting times as they both grew up and matured together. However, they have stayed true to their vows, to each other, and have basically grown up with their 3 wonderful children.
Larry Atkerson Sr. and Lisa Atkerson both have received training in ministry at "Rhema Bible Training Center" and "School of the Local Church"/"Grace School of Ministry" in Broken Arrow, and Tulsa, Ok. respectively.
While attending "School of the Local Church", he received his first taste of the original languages of the Bible, in a course called "Beginning Biblical Greek". Since that time he has also received training in "Biblical Hebrew", with a university based in Israel. "eTeacher".
Larry Atkerson Sr. has worked/volunteered in just about every position a church or ministry can have. In doing so, he has filled many different roles ranging from door-greeter to Sunday-School teacher, and children’s church worker to counselor. He has also served in the pastoral positions of children’s, youth, and adult ministries. He has worked and been involved in hospital/visitation ministries where he has seen the power of God change people’s lives.
He delights in going on short-term mission trips! All the while, seeing the love of God with applied wisdom - transform people and their lives forever.
Larry Atkerson Sr. teaches a weekly bible study class starting just after spring break each year and continuing until right before Thanksgiving. In the class, he delves into the wonderful-exciting-mysteries and simplicity of the Word of God.
