Until the Walls Come Down!

Joshua 6:10-16 (KJV) And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

Jos 6:11  So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

Jos 6:12  And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

Jos 6:13  And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward [rear guard] came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

Jos 6:14  And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

Jos 6:15  And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

Jos 6:16  And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

… Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Oh, praise the Lord God Almighty! He is the only One who can take the things in our lives that seem impenetrable or immovable and make them fall flat, right in front of us!

My friends, what is it in our lives today that seems like an unsurpassable wall, standing right in front of our faces? Without a doubt it seems to be laughing and saying, “You can’t overcome or win against me! I will be the…war, famine, financial difficulty, health concern, lack of peace, and relationship-destroyer that takes you out, this time!

I will continue to attack the essentials in your life. Whether it be your food, water, gas/fuel, safety, housing, careers, safe places to go to, and/or any other over-whelming thought, physical, or spiritual thing in your life.)”

Well, my friends, we have the last say-so with our Lord and Saviour on our side! The devil and all of his demons in hell have to surrender to the power wrapped up in the name of Jesus! When we speak in faith and use our words in accordance with His Word, the Bible. Then we are more than an overcomer! Yes! We are more than a conqueror in Him! (Romans 8:37)

Knowing this, we will stand on the Word of God, and pray and believe until these walls in our lives come tumbling down!

Speak to the mountain! Speak to the wall of whatever it is, that you are facing today. It has to bow down to the name and power of our Lord, God Almighty.
