Rev 1:8 (KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
My friends, as far as God and gods go…Jesus says, He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, The One who “is,” the One who “was,” and the One who “shall come again!” He is the Almighty!
When Jesus says, He is the “Almighty, it is the Greek word…παντοκράτωρ! Transliterated into English as, pantokratōr and pronounced as – pan-tok-rat’-ore
It means; the all ruling “One,” that is, God (as absolute and universal sovereign): – Almighty, Omnipotent.
Wow! Jesus puts it straight out there! He leaves nothing to speculate about. He says, if you want to know who God is and the power He has, look no further than to Him. He is the All-sufficient, All-knowing, All-powerful God – The Almighty! Oh hallelujah!
But there is still one more hidden gem in this verse! It is the first 2 words…”I am!”
This is the same name or reference that Jesus told Moses to tell the children of Israel, when they asked, who sent you.
Exo 3:13-14 (KJV) And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
My friends, “I am” shows a present tense God! When Jesus was speaking about being the God who “is,” who “was,’ and who “is to come” did you notice He mentioned the present tense first?
He is the God of your “Now present situation!” Look to and believe Him and see your needs met!

My friends, God is setting you up for success!
His Word is a lamp unto your feet, your path, the way you should go. His precious Holy Spirit is ready to lead, guide, and direct you.
Nothing shall come against you and prevail!
The Bible tells us that things will come against us. But they will not complete their course of destruction! Isa 54:17 (KJV) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
My friends, in the middle of a world that doesn’t care if you succeed or not, God is setting you up for success! Oh Hallelujah!

Psa 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Wow! What a scripture for this #NewYear!
With all the greenhouse-gasers, ozone-depleaters, doomsday-sayers, and those who freak-out when the weather changes a bit. (Please note; I am not saying, don’t take care of yourself and the planet. I’m just saying, “Don’t go over the cliff with it!) Anyway, to all these people, please take notice! Even if your worst nightmare comes to pass.
It doesn’t shake God or His provision of protection! Even if the mountains are carried off into the sea, He will still be our strength and our refuge! He will be our very present help, in the time of our need. That is my friends, if we let Him.
I for one – want to let Him be my God and my protection, in this new year! Thank You Lord Jesus for Your provision of protection for all Your children. 🙂 Thank You that in this #NewYear #NoWeapon formed against us, (seen or unseen) will prosper! In Jesus name, Amen and Amen! 🙂

Yay! It is that time again! Time to reflect on this past years accomplishments and to look forward to the #NewOpportunities in the coming “New Year”.
One thing is for sure, no matter how we remember this last year, the #NewYear is a clean slate. Time to brush ourselves off and “shoot for the moon!”
My friends, dream big for this next season in your life. Set a “Big goal” that you want to accomplish by the end of this next year. Then set intermediate goals along the way to accomplishing your big goal.
This way you can stay on track and mark things off, as you fulfill them. If you stumble, no problem! Dust yourself off and get back in the saddle, (so to speak). You can do it!
The Bible says in Php 4:13 (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which (or Who) strengtheneth me.
My friends, with God on your side you are going to succeed! Rom 8:31(KJV) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
I like to state it this way. If the God who created the universe is on your side, then who is stupid enough to be against you? I look at this verse of scripture sometimes, like it is a boxing ring! Doing it this way, I can picture its meaning clearly.
“In this ring we have ‘Mano a Mano‘”! [2 people with hands/fist clenched competing against each other]. Each person has a partner! The 1st one has the “Masked Devourer,” “The Dragon,” “The Thief” a.k.a. “Satan” as his/her tag-team partner. *Please note folks…he has been known to take off running, just at the proper mention of the opponents, partners name.*
In the other corner we have “You” (insert your name here) and his/her partners title and name is “The Only Begotten of The Father,” “The King of all kings,” “The Lord of all lords,” “The Lion of the tribe of Judah,” “The Bright and Morning Star,” and “The Creator of the Universe”! His name is Jesus Christ – The Holy Son of God!
Oh hallelujah! Does this change the meaning or outlook of Romans 8:31 for you? I know it does for me and I get excited just thinking about having Jesus in my corner.
With Him you can and you will accomplish the goals that you have set for this new year. Know this my friend, with Him I know our dreams will come to pass and we will be an overcomer in every situation, which faces us in this new year of opportunity.

Luke 2:7-14 (MKJV) And she brought forth her son, the First-born, and wrapped Him, and laid Him in a manger— because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luk 2:8 And in the same country there were shepherds living in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
Luk 2:9 And lo, the angel of the Lord came on them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. And they were grievously afraid.
Luk 2:10 And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For behold, I give to you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luk 2:11 For to you is born today, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luk 2:12 And this is a sign to you. You will find the babe wrapped, lying in a manger.
Luk 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,
Luk 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Many of us get so excited and caught up in the Christmas spirit at Christmas time! In todays world that is totally understandable! Especially, with all the things that must be checked off the list before the day arrives.
It is also, my wife’s favorite time of the year and she loves to shower her family with her love and kindness. Her excitement rubs off on the people closest to her and even I get caught up in it, (well, to a point) 🙂 Lol! This year I even beat her in getting up the Christmas lights outside, before she could decorate inside.
*Disclaimer* is available from her, if you ask her! 🙂
Anyway, we don’t want to forget the real reason why we have Christmas in the first place. You see…without Christ there is no Christmas!
He was the gift of all gifts given from the Father to mankind. His birth, life, death, burial, and resurrection from the dead, are all part of His grand love story to us.
We could never on our own – even fractionally repay His love, He has shown to us. Except by accepting His gift of love, His Son, Jesus Christ as our Savior.
My friends, you can see the heart of the Father in the context of this scripture.
John 3:16-17 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Are you looking for salvation? Then look no further then the Son of God! He is the reason for the season!

My friends, right after the Messianic chapter of Isaiah 53. The chapter where it told us what the Messiah would have to go through. How He would suffer and die for us, even though He had NO sin of His own.
It gives us this beautiful promise from the Lord. Isa 54:9 (ISV) For this is like the waters of Noah to me, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again spread over the earth; so have I sworn that I won’t be angry with you again and that I won’t rebuke you.
As a Christian, as a child the Most High God, He (God) Promises to never be angry with us again!
Does this mean that we won’t do wrong anymore?
But what it does mean, is that when we do wrong…we now have an advocate with the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ. He took the wrath of God on Himself on the cross, (Even though He had NEVER sinned). So that we could take on ourselves the “Righteousness of God through the acceptance His Son, Jesus as Lord!”
Oh hallelujah! My friends, this is shouting territory! Praise the Lord for His mercy and Grace, forevermore!
