My friends, there are times in our life when we just need to take a step back and say, “Lord Help, I am in need of some breathing room!”
That could be where you are, today!
Jesus left us a beautiful example of what He did when an actual storm arose. Believe it or not, He was even accused of not caring for those around Him, (of course they were panicking and not thinking clearly at the time!) Otherwise, they would have obviously, never said that about the Son of the Living God.
Look at the story here and see what happened.
Mar 4:35-41 (MKJV) And evening having come, He (Jesus) said to them on that day, Let us pass over to the other side.
Mar 4:36Â Â And when they had sent away the crowd, they took Him with them as He was in the boat. And there were also other little boats with Him. (Please note; there are others who are going through the same things that you are, with a lot less resources.)
Mar 4:37Â Â And there arose a windstorm, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was now full. (It was full of water and no-doubt, about to sink.)
Mar 4:38 And He was in the stern of the boat, asleep on a headrest. And they awakened Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we perish?
Mar 4:39Â Â And He awakened and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mar 4:40 And He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?
Mar 4:41 And they feared exceedingly and said to one another, What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?
My brothers and sisters in the Lord, in the name that is higher, greater, and bigger than any problem you are facing right now. In the name of Jesus, I speak the Word of God over your situation! I know that beginning right now, things are going to change! “Peace! Be still!” Winds that were sent to topple us, cease! Storms of life that was meant to bring us down, lose your power! In the name of Jesus, “Peace! Be still!” We speak and claim this now, over everything you are facing today!
