Who Would Have Thought, You Could Do It?

Probably no one, some one, or if your super-popular, everyone! 🙂

My friends, are you one of those people, who others count out, when it comes to success or having some good godly common-sense? Which also means, you are the one who is picked last or next to last on a team or project, which needs completed?

Obviously, there is the top-side of this when it comes to groups of people. You are one of the so called, “Lucky ones” who always get picked first to be on a team, on a project, or when it comes to a task needing to get done.

But still there is one more category here in “Life”. It is the one where you are somewhere in the middle. You are not usually called on first or last. But you are called on most of the time, somewhere in the middle of the pack.

But no matter where you fit in any of these three places in “Life”, so to speak. There is always pressure to being anywhere on this three-tiered scale.

If you are at the top of it, then you know there are those who want your place and they are always trying to “Dethrone” you. It is a constant struggle to stay where you are. But you put the pressure on yourself and somehow you just keep showing-up and doing it.

If you are in the middle of the pack. Then you are either, OK with being where you are. Because you are comfortable being there. Or you are one of the ones who say, (hopefully with a smile on your face), “I’ll get you next time” to the person at the top. 🙂

The “Middle” can be a tough place to be. Especially, if you’re always in the middle, striving to do more.

Of course, if you are one of the ones who have constantly found yourself in the cellar, (so to speak) at the bottom of the pack. Then, if you allow it, this position can be depressing at times, if you are not really careful. For in this position it just seems like “Life” has a one-ton boulder on your shoulders and no matter how hard you try. It just keeps grinding you down.

However, something better awaits! My friends, are you ready for the good news?

The God we serve says (no matter where you are on the scale), “You Can do it!”

Php 4:13 (MKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You are somebody in your place with “Him”. You are not your own but you have been bought with a price. Since you are no longer your own. You don’t have the limits that used to be attributed to you.

Where you used to fail, you can now succeed!

God does not care where you live or what family you have come from. Act 10:34 (MKJV)  Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Truly I see that God is no respecter of persons;

What He cares about is you as His child. He wants you to succeed in everything you do. He wants the best for you in every situation.

My friends, when we quit trying to do everything ourselves and we rely on Him for wisdom, knowledge, and strength. He is willing to do even more than what we can ask of Him. Mat 7:11 (MKJV) If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?

Be mindful to not disqualify yourself and say, “I messed up today and God is probably going to punish me for it.”

No! My friends, speak and trust in what the Word says. It will make you fall in love, even more with the Lord as you see and confess what He says about you. So, instead of doing wrong you will want to do what is right! Plus, you will think twice about it before you do it again.

Look at His promise to you as His child. This comes after the redemptive chapter of Isa 53. It is found in Isa 54:9 (MKJV) For this is as the waters of Noah to Me; for as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn from being angry with you and from rebuking you.

Isa 54:10  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah (The Lord God) who has mercy on you.

My friends, when you face your challenges in life. Look to God! He wants you to succeed in every area of your life, more than you want too. Therefore, when you do your best and make it to the “Top” of the ladder. Remember and confess, it was God who strengthened me! Truly, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
