1Peter 2:21-24 (GNB) It was to this that God called you, for Christ himself suffered for you and left you an example, so that you would follow in his steps.
1Pe 2:22 He committed no sin, and no one ever heard a lie come from his lips.
1Pe 2:23 When he was insulted, he did not answer back with an insult; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but placed his hopes in God, the righteous Judge.
1Pe 2:24 Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by his wounds (stripes) that you have been healed.
My friends and my brothers and sisters in the Lord, He (Jesus Christ) did it all for you and me! Oh praise His holy name!

My friends, God sees the brokenhearted. He knows what you are going through. There is no distance too far – that He can’t cover. There is no hurt too great – that He doesn’t understand how you feel.
There is no sickness or disease that’s too bad or too far gone – that He cannot heal! There’s no relationship – that’s beyond repair in Him.
When you need your Prayers to get from Faith and Hope to Fulfilled and Answered – He is the One, who is right there delivering the answers to your prayers! He is the One who can and will bridge the gap with you!
Even when you seemingly have no faith left in the tank (so to speak)! When it feels like you have been beat on every side! Look up! Look up! For your redemption draws nigh!
My friends, even when it seems like you can’t wait any longer for your answer! Look to our Lord for He is the author and finisher of our faith!
Do you believe that Jesus believes His Word will produce?
Yes! **Ok then…pause point! Mediate on this!** Have faith that He (Jesus) has faith to believe His Own Word will produce! Then you will surely see your need met through your belief/faith, in the fact that Jesus has belief/faith in His Word to produce your answer. ** Oh my Lord that is good, get it down in your heart!
My friends, always, run to and not away from Him! For there He awaits with arms open wide! Remember, He is never the problem, but the problem solver.
Be blessed in everything you do!
Did you know…WORDS are containers and they carry the substance of life and death in them?
Proverbs 18:21 (ISV) says… The power of the tongue is life and death—those who love to talk will eat what it produces.
So, be careful little tongue what you say! 🙂
My friends, our WORDS can brighten or destroy someone’s day! They contain the power to provoke war or instill peace. They can bring a family closer together or tear them apart.
The 2 little WORDs “I DO” at an alter – in front of a minister, will change your life forever! 🙂
However, their power does not stop there! They also control our eternal destiny. The Bible says this in Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
My friends, WORDS have power, choose them wisely!

Ever since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, there has been a promised Messiah.
Prophecies concerning His arrival are in abundance in the Bible, so that we would recognize Him when He came.
A few of the prophecies include…
1. His birthplace would be in Bethlehem
2. He would be born of a virgin
3. He would be of the tribe of Judah
4. He would be in the lineage of King David
5. He would live a sin-free life
6. He would have healing in His wings (the tassels or hem of His garment).
7. He would be 100% God, yet 100% man at the same time. Therefore, both of the titles “Son of God” and “Son of man” would apply correctly to Him.
8. Isaiah 53 would apply to Him. He would be the “Lamb of God” the one beaten and crucified for our sins.
9. He would die but not stay dead. He would be resurrected from the death.
10. He would take the keys of death, hell and the grave away from Satan.
My friends, these are just a few of the prophecies concerning His birth, life here on the earth as a man, His death, and then His resurrection from the dead.
What makes Jesus different from anyone else who has said they are God; the Son of God; the one who was sent from God; or any other term, which they used to gather followers, is the “Empty tomb”!
Not only did Jesus Christ fulfill every prophecy concerning the Messiah. But He also, arose from the dead, just like He said He would.
My friends, angels announced His birth from the heavens. He confounded the scholars and the Pharisees with His wisdom of the scriptures and the authority in which He spoke. He cast out demons, healed the lepers, performed miracles, and spoke the Word and people was raised from the dead.
He told Peter that he would deny him 3 times before the cock crowed and he did. He allowed Himself to be beaten, whipped, and crucified on our behalf, for He had no sin of His own.
His body was placed in a tomb with guards sealing and guarding the tomb, but they could not keep Him in it. Because on the 3rd day the angels rolled away the stone and Jesus walked right on out.
He then appeared to his disciples and at least 500 other people/believers to prove that He did would He said He would do. Thereby, proving for all to see that He was who He said He was, the Son of God.
Then after a period of about 40 days, He ascended back up into heaven, with people watching. Then the 2 angels said this to them. Act 1:11 (ISV) They asked, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you saw him go up into heaven.”
So on this Resurrection Day, we understand this scripture just about sums it up. 1Timothy 3:16 (KJV) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
My friends, what makes Jesus Christ different, is that He is who He said He was and that He arose from the dead on the 3rd day. Oh glory to His name!
Jesus speaking tells this parable…
Luke 15:4-7 (MKJV) What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost until he finds it?
Luk 15:5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luk 15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Luk 15:7 I say to you that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Oh my goodness! The love of our Good Shepherd is out of this world!
Did you notice the 2 roles listed here and what each one did?
1st, we have a sheep that was lost. Before the sheep, (in this case…you or I) got lost, they (we) were one of the sheep in the Shepherd’s fold/herd.
Then one day after we learned the difference between “Right and Wrong” we choose wrong and thus sin separated us from the Shepherd and the rest of the sheep.
2nd, We now have the Shepherd leave the ones who were safe/saved in Him and He goes to find the “One” who was lost.
Now watch! Because, here’s where His love for us is overwhelming!
What was the role of the sheep? He or she was lost without the Shepherd, (which puts their life at risk)! Because knowingly or unknowingly they were wondering around without the protection of the Shepherd.
Now, what’s the role of the Shepherd? The Shepherd searches…
The Shepherd finds…
The Shepherd carries…
The Shepherd rejoices…
The Shepherd calls out to His friends (those in the fold) and says, “Rejoice with Me!” For the one who was lost, is now found! Then, He lets us know…this is the type of party which happens in heaven when “One sinner who was lost, is now found!”
How did the sinner become a “found one”?
He or she simply allowed the Good Shepherd to find them. Then once they were found, He lavished them with His love!
My friends, This exciting territory! If you are a lamb or sheep today, who is wondering around without the present and eternal protection of the Good Shepherd, then are you ready to be found? The Bible says that “Today is the day of salvation!”
Here’s a simple prayer to pray and believe, so you can be lavishly loved by the Shepherd.
Father God, I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ to this earth, to show me Your love. I believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sin-free life as The Son of Man, took my place on a cross by dying for my sins. And then He arose from the dead on the 3rd day, just as the scriptures said! Thus He purchased my salvation and I accept Him as my Lord and Saviour, as my Shepherd, as my very best friend. Thank You, Jesus, for looking for me! Thank You for finding me; for carrying me; for rejoicing over me; for loving me! Thank You that there is joy in my heart today! You have found me and I rest on Your shoulders. I love You Lord Jesus and I thank You for first loving me! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen and Amen!
Welcome to the family of God, my friend! Be blessed in everything you do! Find yourself a good Bible based church to get plugged into. Stay tuned into our ministry and others like ours, who minister the “Truth” from the Word.
If you would like to share with us that you have received Jesus as Lord and Saviour today. You can do so as a post on this page or in a message. We would love to hear from you! Shalom in Jesus name!
Do you remember the parable, Jesus told about the woman who lost one of her ten coins?
Luke 15:8-10 (KJV) Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Luk 15:9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
Luk 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
The “Woman” in this parable refers to the Holy Spirit. As babies and children our spirits are alive unto God. However, once we reach the age of being accountable for our actions and we chose wrong, our spirit is no longer alive to God. It suffers spiritual death or separation from God. So then, we find ourselves in a state where the Bible says, we need to be “Born-again”.
The “Coin” refers to us, who were lost, before we had accepted Jesus Christ, as Lord and Saviour.
“Silver” in the Bible refers to redemption.
So the beauty of this parable shows that from the time we are separated from God, until we say “Yes” to Him, The Holy Spirit (pictured as a woman here) searches and searches the places in our hearts and minds, until we are found. Then in His excitment, He throws a party which is worthy of angelic celebration, as we have been returned to the Fathers collection (so to speak) through the acceptance of His Son.
Oh praise the Lord, for He is worthy of our praise! His love and tender mercies are new every morning.
